Holding your ground is not the absence of progress.

Most comparison is based on incomplete information.
Instead of asking,
"Why am I behind?"
Ask,
"What does my life actually require today?"
Reality is a better guide than comparison.
The best system is not the one that works for your ideal self.
It is the one that still works on an ordinary Tuesday when you are tired, distracted, and dealing with real life.
Design around reality.
Reality is where you actually live.
Rest is not a reward for productivity.
Recovery is part of sustaining a life.
A system that requires exhaustion before rest is not sustainable.
Productivity has value.
People have value.
These are not the same thing.
The amount you produce does not determine the amount you deserve.
Do not ask,
"Could I do this?"
Ask,
"Could I still be doing this a year from now?"
